ANTI-RAGGING
Ragging is a criminal and punishable offense. At the DARJEELING HILL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY & MANAGEMENT (DHITM), Takdah, Darjeeling, we strictly prohibit ragging—defined as any act of teasing, treating with rudeness, or inducing a student to perform something that causes shame or psychological harm. We are committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and dignified learning environment for all students. Any individual engaging in such rowdy or undisciplined activities will face severe disciplinary action, including immediate suspension and legal proceedings.
