Darjeeling Hill Institute of Technology & Management (DHITM) — established under the Gorkhaland Territorial Administration (GTA), approved by AICTE, and affiliated to MAKAUT, West Bengal — offers world-class undergraduate programs in Engineering and Hotel Management & Technology.

⚙️ B.Tech (Engineering) Admission

Eligibility Criteria

  • For 1st Year B.Tech Admission:
    Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Science) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
    Admission is through WBJEE / JEE (Main) or via Management Quota as per AICTE and MAKAUT norms.

  • For Lateral Entry (Direct 2nd Year):
    Candidates must have completed a Diploma in Engineering (AICTE-approved) or B.Sc. with Mathematics.

Application Process

  1. Get the Application Form – Download from www.dhitm.co.in or collect from the DHITM Admission Office.

  2. Fill in the Details – Provide accurate academic and personal information.

  3. Submit Required Documents –

    • 10th & 12th Mark Sheets / Diploma Certificates

    • WBJEE / JEE (Main) Rank Card (if applicable)

    • Aadhaar Card

    • Passport-size Photographs

  4. Pay the Application Fee – Available through both online and offline modes.

  5. Counseling & Verification – Shortlisted candidates will be informed for counseling/document verification.

  6. Confirm Admission – Pay the admission fee and receive your Admission Confirmation Letter.

🍽️ Bachelor in Hotel Management & Technology (BHMT) Admission

About the Program

The Bachelor in Hotel Management & Technology (BHMT) program at DHITM prepares students for leadership roles in the hospitality and tourism industry.
The curriculum blends theoretical knowledge with practical exposure, industrial training, and global hospitality standards, ensuring graduates are fully industry-ready.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Passed 10+2 (any stream) from a recognized board (Arts, Science, or Commerce).

  • Candidates awaiting 10+2 results may also apply.

  • Admission is based on academic merit and a personal interview conducted by DHITM.
