DHITM covers student conduct, attendance, academic requirements, and use of campus facilities, with specific policies and initiates disciplinary actions for misconduct or excessive absence.
Student Conduct:-
Attendance & Punctuality: Students are expected to attend all classes of all the courses across various branches of study and co-curricular activities maintaining punctually.
Campus Discipline:- Prohibitions on smoking, consuming pan, and bringing weapons onto the campus.
Prohibited Activities:- Bans on political or religious activities and any form of ragging.
Use of Technology:- Restrictions on mobile phones, pagers, and cameras inside the campus during college hours.
Identity Cards:- Requirement to display ID cards for students is prominent across all locations in the campus.
Administrative Procedures
College functioning:- DHITM functions for 6 days a week and from 09:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Payment of Fees:- Students are mandated with the submission of semester fees before they submit the examination form and appear for end semester examinations.
Permissions:- Faculty staff and students are required to get permission from HoI or authority concerned to leave the campus during class/ college hours.
Cyber Security and Ethical Practices:- DHITM implements robust security policies conducting regular staff and student awareness training, strengthening governance, and managing risks to protect sensitive data and maintain integrity and availability. The college ensures strict punishments against individuals indulged in unethical practices.
